Latimer: A successful
businessman
& community volunteer
The attacks have already begun.
The Red Hook Democrats and Red Hook Concerns have already
started attacking Sue Crane's suggested replacement on the Town
Board. This is their standard practice. Attack the people they
don't like in order to damage them and the community. So who is
Robert Latimer and why would Sue Crane select him?
Latimer is vice-president of NDP
Paramedics, part-time Red Hook Police Officer and local
volunteer. Well educated, Rob Latimer has a balanced
approach to government and commitment to our community. He
and his business partner, Ed Murray, have built one of the most
successful emergency response businesses in the State of New
York. Providing advanced life support and medical transport to
thousands across the region, NDP has partnered with local
emergency services, Healthquest (our local hospitals) and
medical businesses throughout the Hudson Valley. They have been
so successful, they just recently purchased Alamo Ambulance to
become our county's premiere medical transport and emergency car
provider.
Rob and his family are active
animal farmers and they have volunteered with the 4-H. He is a
part time village police officer with a background in emergency
services, community policing and providing security. After the
burglaries throughout Red Hook in 2007 his background could
serve us well.
Rob Latimer will serve Red Hook
well. We endorse Sue Crane's suggested replacement, encourage
the Board to act and call on those who criticize to give Rob a
chance. Attacking those we don't agree with is not a path
toward "unity." We sounds the bugle for action and support Mr.
Latimer. ¶
