Recent burglaries
Mrs.
Crane,
I just
wanted to let you know that State Police in Livingston,
Columbia County arrested a 40 year old male from Philmont,
N.Y. who is presently incarcerated in the Columbia County
jail. He is believed to be responsible for up to 50
burglaries, mainly in Columbia County. I along with
investigators at the State Police Livingston Barracks was
able to link him to two of the recent burglaries in the Town
of Red Hook, and I believe he is responsible for a third. He
will be charged accordingly with relation to the Red Hook
burglaries. This is in no way meant to insinuate that the
community shouldn’t continue to keep their doors and windows
locked and to take note of suspicious activity, but I wanted
to let you know so that you may forward this information on.
Thank you.
